Moorage
Shasta Marina Resort has boat slips available to moor houseboats, and covered boat slips for ski boats, pontoon boats and more. We’re located at the end of the O’Brien Inlet, which is on the Sacramento Arm of the lake, and on the north side of the O’Brien Mountain. This is one of the most secluded and most beautiful areas of Shasta Lake. The O’Brien Creek streams into the inlet feeding the lake year round. There is a dense population of Douglas Fir and a number of Old Growth Pines covering the steep slopes on the south side of the O’Brien Inlet. The north side of the inlet is full of Black Oak and Sugar Pine. The calm water has been quite the secret for many years. From the marina to the point where inlet joins the Sacramento Arm is approximately 3 miles. Within the inlet you’ll find coves, bays, and a few longer channels for day use or for spending the week on your houseboat, and still be close enough to go for an ice cream at the marina.
The marina staff is a rare group of people that happen to love their jobs, and take pride in our marina, and in our beautiful lake and forest. Hospitality is the theme in every aspect of dealing with customers. We strive to provide unprecedented customer care, an impeccably maintained, state of the art moorage facility, and easy access to the necessary services.
Included in the moorage you will have launching privileges year round, with assistance from our staff whenever you desire (at no additional charge), as well as unlimited pump out service. We have ample parking for you and your guests (at no additional charge). The moorage is gated and accessible at all times through a combination lock. Security cameras are positioned throughout the marina and we have an on-site resident to insure that your boat is secure and safe. There are plenty of carts for transporting your things from your car to your boat, or you can ask a staff member to bring a patio boat to the ramp to assist with heavier items.
Gas and ice can be purchased 7 days a week, year round. Fresh Water is available at the dock. Trash receptacles are located on the dock for your use. The marina store is open from April through October and is stocked with cold drink , beer, wine, groceries, fishing tackle, souvenirs, stylish apparel and wakeboard rentals.
