Booking & Cancellation Policies

Policies

Please take a moment to read through our policies. We want to ensure you have a positive experience with our company right from the start.

Note: NO ARRIVALS OR DEPARTURES ON TUESDAYS OR WEDNESDAYS.
Age minimum for Charter Captain is 25, except for Mother’s Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend. Then, the age minimum is 30.

Houseboat Rental Policies

A Reservation may be booked with a $1,000 Security Deposit. A $2,000 Security Deposit is required for Mother's Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend. For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the Reservation must be the same as the Credit/Debit Card Holder. This person is considered to be the Renter. All other persons involved with the Rental are considered to be the Renter’s Invitees, and all discussion regarding the Reservation, Cancellation, and Damage Policies will be discussed with the Renter, not the Renter’s Invitees. The Renter understands that he/she must be at least 25 years of age (except Mother’s Day Weekend and Memorial Day Weekend, the Renter must be at least 30 years of age). A copy of the Renter’s valid Driver’s License is required at the time of arrival. All Renters or Captains designated by the Renter must go through a complete Orientation on Houseboat handling and operating.

The Security Deposit paid is not part of your Rental Amount. It is above and beyond the Rent and is 100% refundable by Check the day you go home, provided the Boat is returned clean, undamaged, full of Gasoline and with initial Inventory intact. Gas tanks are filled at Renter’s expense upon return of Rental. Gasoline may NOT be charged against the Deposit and NO CASH will be refunded. A minimum Cleaning Fee of $100 will be charged on all Boats returned unclean. A Late Charge of $100 per hour or any part of an hour will be charged for Late Returns.

Cancellation Policy

  1. All Cancellations must be in writing.
  2. If a Reservation Cancellation is received by the Marina more than ninety (90) days prior to the first day of the scheduled Boarding Date, the Marina will refund the entire amount of the Reservation Fee and Security Deposit which it has received, less a $500 Cancellation Charge.
  3. For any Reservation Cancellation received by the Marina less than ninety (90) days prior to the first day of the scheduled Boarding Date, the Marina, in its sole discretion, may retain all or any portion of the Rental Fee and Security Deposit paid by the Customer.
  4. The Marina regrets that it is unable to make exceptions to this Cancellation Policy to accommodate emergencies.
  5. Rental Fees and Security Deposits may not be extended beyond one year from the initial Reservation Date.

Small Boat Rental Policies

Upon making Reservation, a Booking Deposit amounting to one days Rent will be charged to my Credit Card. Remaining Rental Fee will be paid 30 days prior to boarding or my Reservation will be Cancelled, and my Deposit will be forfeited. Upon arrival a hold of $1,000 will be placed on my Credit Card to act as Security Deposit. The Security Deposit will be used as payment for cost of labor and repair of rental if any damage occurs. No gasoline may be charged against the Deposit and NO CASH will be refunded.  A minimum Cleaning Fee of $100 will be charged for all Boats returned unclean.  A Late Charge of $100 per hour or any part of an hour will be charged for Late Returns.

Cancellation Policy

  1. All Cancellations must be in writing.
  2. Any Cancellation, which is received 30 or more days prior to the scheduled Boarding Date, will result in a refund of your Booking Deposit minus 3% of total charges.
  3. Any Cancellation received 30 days or less prior to the scheduled Boarding Date will result in loss of half of your Booking Deposit.
